To reduce various noisy reverberations in indoor spaces, we use perforated high-expansion polyethylene foam over a certain area for sound absorption, effectively lowering reverberation time. These perforated, high-expansion, irradiated cross-linked polyethylene foams are filled with fibrous sound-absorbing materials such as fiberglass and rock wool. Using formaldehyde-free composite materials is both environmentally friendly and reduces the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), thereby enhancing the indoor health environment.
